JAMES B. RE: I was fortunate to have the opportunity to work on several yachts and a small cargo vessel when I was in my early 20's. I didn't have any idea then of course, but that experience shaped my career as a lawyer by enabling me to get a job interviewing witnesses and conducting shipboard investigations while I was still in law school. Since then I've been involved in bringing hundreds of maritime cases from initial investigation and fact gathering, to successful resolution.
STEPHEN REILLY: Since Fitch began in 1984 admiralty and maritime litigation has been a cornerstone of our broad litigation practice. We represent vessel owners and their insurers in matters that cover the full spectrum of maritime law. From Jones Act, long shore, and passenger personal injury defense: through collisions, oil spills, cargo, and salvage claims.
JAMES B. RE: One of our firm's great strengths is that our litigation and arbitration practice Covers not only admiralty law, but a very broad range of legal subject matters. Consequently, our lawyers bring great breadth and depth of knowledge and experience to every case that we handle.
