Ms. Laffin's practice focuses on the areas of family law, domestic violence, and criminal defense. Prior to joining Fitch, Ms. Laffin worked as an Assistant County Attorney in Rockingham County, New Hampshire. She prosecuted a broad array of felony cases in Rockingham Superior Court, ranging from drug crimes to domestic violence and serious assaults. Ms. Laffin successfully tried a multitude of felony cases while an Assistant County Attorney, obtaining convictions for domestic violence, assault and battery, violation of no contact orders, and driving while under the influence.

She is a graduate of Boston University School of Law, J.D., where she was a Member of the Boston University Journal of Science and Technology Law. She received her undergraduate degree from Boston College, B.A., magna cum laude.

During law school, Ms. Laffin successfully argued two appeals before the Massachusetts Appeals Court as an intern with the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office. She won in the case of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in Com. v. Heye, 87 Mass. App. Ct. 1124 (2015) (Rule 1:28 opinion), where the Massachusetts Appeals Court affirmed Defendant's conviction for assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon. She also prevailed in the Commonwealth in Com. v. Ganley, 87 Mass. App. Ct. 1112 (2015) (Rule 1:28 decision), where the Massachusetts Appeals Court affirmed Defendant's conviction of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of a narcotic drug. Ms. Laffin also participated in the Boston University Criminal Law Clinic, serving as a student prosecutor in Quincy District Court.

She is admitted to the Massachusetts and New Hampshire bars.
