Protecting Landlord and Tenants in Commercial Evictions
At Fitch Law Partners LLP, we represent landlords and tenants in commercial eviction proceedings brought in the summary process sessions of Massachusetts courts. We have successfully negotiated resolution of, and have tried, many commercial eviction cases. Our preeminent trial lawyers are consistently recognized for their skilled representation in complex and high stakes cases.
Examples From Our Commercial Eviction Practice
- We successfully defended a commercial eviction case for our client, a national retailer of shoes, at trial in the Superior Court of the State of Connecticut. The court found that the commercial landlord had breached numerous provisions of the lease, including those granting our retail client noncompetition assurances. The court also found that our client was entitled to vacate the premises without payment to the landlord.
- We represented the owner of a large retail complex in an action for enforcement of rent terms and secured a favorable outcome.
- We represented a major airline in an eviction dispute with a subtenant and achieved an excellent resolution of the issues at stake.
- We obtained dismissal of an action brought against our client, an owner of resorts throughout the country, for payment on a guaranty allegedly due in connection with a commercial eviction case in Dallas, Texas.
