Fitch Law Partners LLP is proud to report that the Supreme Judicial Court (“SJC”) has appointed Lisa C. Goodheart as Co-Chair of the Massachusetts Access to Justice Commission for a three-year term beginning on August 1, 2025. In a June 11, 2025 press release announcing the appointment, SJC Chief Justice Kimberly S. Budd emphasized that “Attorney Goodheart brings to this role extensive leadership experience, and we appreciate her willingness to take on this important position.”
Stephen C. Reilly, Managing Partner of Fitch Law Partners LLP, echoed these sentiments in noting that “Lisa is a credit not only to our firm, but also to the Massachusetts legal community as a whole. Throughout her career Lisa has routinely achieved excellent results for her clients, and all the while remained deeply engaged in efforts to support the bench, the bar, and those in need of legal aid.”
The SJC established the Access to Justice Commission in 2005. The Commission leads and coordinates efforts to assist numerous organizations in Massachusetts that strive to improve access to justice for persons in the Commonwealth who are unable to afford counsel for their critical civil legal needs.
